The Ministry of
Manpower and Transmigration in the Republic of Indonesia(MOMT) and the Kawasan
Industri KIIC (KIIC) jointly held Employment Support Forum at KIIC in Karawan,
West Java, Indonesia on April 5, 2002. Moreover,
simultaneous holding of the "Group Employment Interviews"
was carried out, and many returned trainees participated in the interview to a
company.
KIIC (joint
corporation of C. ITOH CO.LTD in Japan
and local capital) which is this holding place is located in Karawan, West
Java. There are 45 companies that are
moving-in operating at KIIC now.
It is the Japanese industrial park where about 290 returned trainees of
IM Japan are also employed. This forum is opened by the address of President
Oyama of KIIC. President Oyama who is also a cosponsorship person emphasized a returned
trainee's superiority "Although there are many moving-in companies
at KIIC which employ the IM Japan returned trainees of present many as
outstanding manpower, I hope much more companies would utilize an IM Japanfs
returned trainee for development of the companies", and he recommended
adoption.
Following the
explanation of gTraining Program for Indonesian Trainees in Japan" by Drs.
Samino, Director of Directorate General of Manpower Training Development and
Domestic Placement of MOMT, President Narikawa of the YAMAHA MOTOR PARTS
MFG.INDONESIA, announced the example about an returned trainee's acting and how
to utilize their ability. Mr. Narikawa estimates the returned trainee of IM Japan highly "Although
the quality of the Indonesia product does not yet have internationally
high evaluation, in order to supply the product of the quality of an international
level, it needs to utilize an IM Japanfs returned trainee." furthermore,
remarks in the case of adoption etc. was explained plainly.
After the forum end, it shifts to Group Employment Interviews (held by MOMT). While many local companies participated, an earnest sight of 43 IM Japan returned trainees who tackle an interview eagerly was caught. From the company which attended the "Group Employment Interviews", various questions were carried out to the returned trainee to find out the talented people of a middle manager level who connect the employee with management.


IM Japan continues
to supports the "Employment Support Forum" and gGroup Employment Interviews", which MOMT holds, so that the returned
trainees of IM Japan can be harnessed for the improvement in productivity
of the industry in Indonesia.
